We took a trip to St. George and these are some of the pictures.

The one picture I have from Ryan's birthday.  This is proof that I made 5 homemade lasagnas for the occasion.  Note to self: Lasagna is a great food but not that great after it's been frozen.

Winter

We've had lots of snow this winter.  The kids have had fun building snowmen with daddy.

We also took the kids sledding with our new sled from Christmas.  Both kids were brave enough to attempt the hill by themselves.

This was our pic from Temple Square before the snow arrived.  It was beautiful and the kids loved seeing the nativity.

Love Them

Much to be grateful for.  Number one on the list would be these two beautiful healthy children who keep me alive and active.  They make me laugh and cry and I'm so blessed to be their mother.  I am grateful to have a wonderfully supportive husband who loves me for who I am.  He helps me through my struggles and is there to encourage me to become my best.  We are blessed to have family and friends to laugh and share memories with.  I am grateful for my health and life and each day I get to breathe another breath.  I am blessed to live in a beautiful world full of Heavenly Father's tender mercies. 

Cambree has her phone, baby, and purse and is walking her dog Max.  Max has a platic piece of meat in his mouth.  This picture makes me smile.

Christmas

 We had a really fun Kroeger family party.  We had mexican food (my favorite) and did tons of fun activities.  There was a pinata, decorating cupcakes, a gift passing game, and pin the star on the tree.  Mary was in charge of the party and did a really great job. 

 

 

Santa came to our house.  He left Cambree a dollhouse and Boston a batcave and Batman costume.  Our kids don't really play with toys for long periods of time but we were pleasantly pleased with Santa's selections as it seemed to entertain them all Christmas day.

Grandma Mary brought them a really cool snow sled.  They were pretty excited.

Cambree was pretty pleased that she won some refrigerator clips at the party.  Woo hoo!!

News

I finished my first semester of school.  It has been really great to have something to be working towards and I'm enjoying my program immensely and feel a great deal of personal growth. 

Ryan started a new job on December 17th at a software company in Salt Lake.  He is really loving it and happy to be working with a great group of co-workers.

Ryan and I took a 3-night trip to St. George.  We didn't take any pictures but we had a great time hanging out and talking.  It is always nice to get a little break.

We recently found out that my brother Todd is engaged in a battle with cancer.  We will know fully his diagnosis at the end of the week.  He is a very special daddy, husband, son, and brother.  Please pray for him if he comes to mind as he needs all the prayers and support possible.

Boston's Preschool Program

Boston's preschool class had a little Christmas program at the library.  They sang tons of songs they've been learning.  When we arrived for the practice in the morning, Boston refused to go up and sing.  I finally convinced him through bribery of a new scooter to perform.  Ironically, it worked.  I've never really had that happen but it really worked.  He went up and participated and I was pleased.  When it came time to say his part he wouldn't go near the microphone so I ended up being apart of the program and saying his part.  Hey, I was just ecstatic he went up in the first place.  I'll take it.  Way to go Boston!!

Kids

 Sometimes Boston and Cambree are the best of friends.  I thought these pictures were pretty cute.

But othertimes this is the chaos we experience.  This is when Boston takes her baby and proceeds to drive her nuts.  You can see the terror in Cambree's eyes.  It's intense!!

We are learning a lot as parents.  We've decided we need to lay off on the "Don't, No," and "Stop."  These words seem to produce more of what we don't want.  We are trying to divert the behavior to something else and it seems to be working better but it's hard to train ourselves to parent in a new way.  Try, Try, and Try Again.
